A ewe and 23 lambs have actually been killed in a dog attack near Canterbury.
Two dogs were seen assaulting the flock on land near Elbridge Hill, Sturry, on Saturday, Kent Police said.
Officers said they took an Akita-type dog which was neither microchipped nor using a collar, while the other had actually escaped at about 06:00 BST.
Det Sgt Darren Walshaw said it was a really traumatic occurrence. Anyone with details on how the dogs happened there is asked to get in touch with Kent Police.
