CAMBRIDGE – Cops are relying on the general public for help after a female was assaulted while strolling her dog in Cambridge Sunday night.
The lady in her 20s was apparently strolling her 8-month old Cockapoo around midnight in the location of Market and Windsor streets when she saw a male on the other side of the roadway using all black with a black ski mask on his head.
” After she passed him and eye contact was made, the suspect reversed and approached her,” Cambridge cops stated. “He then apparently tackled her to the ground and struck her several times.”
The guy removed with the leashed dog, however the dog had the ability to get away, cops stated. Responders dealt with the lady’s injuries at the scene.
The dog called Jax was discovered in the future Monday and reunited with its owner.
Cops on Thursday shared monitoring video that they state functions the enemy as he strolled in the location of the attack an hour prior to it occurred.
