People are requiring dogs owners to take more obligation after a precious donkey was left terrified after a savage attack by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Eddie the donkey and his sis Pippa remained in their field when the attack occurred.
Owner Jude Friswell said she feared Eddie may have lost his life had she not looked out to the attack.
She said he has actually been left too afraid to even come out of his steady.

Dozens of individuals published kind remarks after the news was shared on the CoventryLive Facebook page.
And numerous required dog owners to take more obligation, with some even stating that all dogs ought to be kept leads.
It comes as West Midlands Police validate that dog attacks are on the rise, with 1,092 offenses tape-recorded throughout the area in 2022 compared to 630 in 2018.
CoventryLive ran a survey previously this year asking our readers if they believe dogs ought to be kept leads at all times. It followed a husky was left with serious injuries after being attacked by an off-lead dog.
The vast majority of our readers said dog owners should keep their pets on lead at all times.

Melinda Anthony shared her own experience of her dog being approached by an off-lead dog who might not be remembered by its owner. She said she needed to protect her own dog.
“This is why dogs should be on leads,” she included. “You can never second guess how a dog or another animal is going to react and as responsible owners we should be protecting people, other animals and our pets from situations like this.”
