ATLANTA — At first, it appeared like a traditional taxi journey for Amun Pride together with his two luggage and five-month-old puppy, Wasabi, within the again seat with him.
However, he ended up with no canine or luggage.

“He’s like, there is no way you’re not coming back for that (dog),” Pride stated.
When he arrived at 710 Peachtree Street on Tuesday evening, he wanted to run upstairs to pay his cab fare. He says he advised the taxi driver he would go away his canine and luggage as a promise he would return with the money.
Pride stated whereas going upstairs he received caught in an elevator when the fireplace alarm went off.
Police confirmed that firefighters did reply to an incident on the advanced across the time Pride was dropped off.
“It probably took me 20 minutes, maybe 25 minutes to get downstairs. When I came back, the guy was gone,” Pride stated. “My dog was gone. My dog, my stuff, and the car was gone.”
Pride says he thinks the cab driver stole the canine.
Channel 2 Action News was capable of contact the cab driver over the cellphone. We usually are not naming the driving force as he isn’t charged with a criminal offense.
The driver says he waited round an hour for Pride to return downstairs.
“I was outside for as long as I could have been, so I did what I had to do,” the driving force stated.
The cab driver stated he put the baggage and the puppy on the curb and left.
“I’m not a storage room, so I got rid of his belongings,” the driving force stated.
Pride isn’t shopping for the reason, because the puppy is a really costly French bulldog.
“No one would leave the dog on this intersection to run in the street and get run over. Why would you do that?” Pride stated.
Despite the contrasting story, the very fact stays a taxi journey ended with a person lacking a canine.

Police are wanting into the case.
According to the police report, safety cameras weren’t pointing in the correct course and couldn’t confirm both person’s story.
The case is at present filed as misplaced property.
