FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) – Dogs all set for adoption are searching for “furever” households at the Swap Shop.
The Broward County Animal Care Division starting a brand-new effort in hopes of discovering these family pets caring houses.
Organizers brought dogs to the Swap Shop, where they will spend the weekend and ideally discover the right owner.
“Every time we come out here, about more than half of our dogs get adopted. which is far better than we do at our regular facility,” said Emily Wood, director of the Broward County Animal Care Division. ‘”It’s truly crucial to bring the animals and our info to where individuals are, instead of making individuals work to discover us.”
Officials said almost 40% of dogs were embraced on website last month throughout the programs trial stage.
