The man accused of attacking a 69-year-old man and his canine whereas they have been walking close to Mill Pond Reservoir in Burlington final week turned himself in to police on Monday and was arrested and charged with animal cruelty.
Burlington police mentioned Austin Beliveau, Jr., 45, of Woburn turned himself in round midday and was anticipated to be arraigned in Woburn District Court on the cost of animal cruelty.
Police acquired a report round 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 5 {that a} 69-year-old man and his canine have been attacked whereas walking round Mill Pond Reservoir. The subsequent investigation decided that two dogs owned by a person on a bicycle, later recognized as Beliveau, grew to become concerned in a confrontation with the 69-year-old’s canine. Beliveau allegedly used his bike to separate the dogs, inflicting the walker to fall, after which allegedly beat the 69-year-old man’s canine, inflicting critical accidents.
The man who was walking didn’t report any accidents, in keeping with police.
