DALLAS (Gray News) – A loveable 19-year-old puppy called Annie got to enjoy her last couple of months living her finest life.

Lauren Siler and Lisa Flores said they understood time was of the essence when they embraced the 19-year-old dog, however they got more time and attention than even they were anticipating.

Siler shared that they first spotted Annie in an online post stating she required help and might be euthanized while at a Dallas-location shelter.

According to Siler, she was informed that Annie had actually stopped consuming and walking after she was given up by a family.

Siler and Flores began a “bucket list” for Annie while sharing all of the unique celebrations with her fans from professional photos to the group taking a trip to 50 states together.

Annie definitely outlasted her one-month-to-live medical diagnosis as the very best buddies had the ability to take a trip together for a whole year.

Last weekend, they even got to commemorate an “Annie-versary” – marking the one year because they embraced the 19-year-old puppy.

However, quickly after the 1 year event, Siler shared that Annie had actually passed away.

“So much of who I am today is because of Annie. I learned so much from her … That life is worth living!” Siler composed. “She gave us her all … and I can’t help but think as she looked at me with her head in my lap last night that she was telling me, ‘See I told you I could hang on for a year!”

Siler included that she misses out on “her frosted face” however is “thankful to share the journey.”
