A person in Karnataka’s Bengaluru was arrested for stabbing a senior citizen, whom he mistook for the mother or father of the canine that barked at him. The incident befell at seventeenth Cross within the metropolis’s Malleswaram space earlier this week, when daily-wage labourer H Raju attacked 62-year-old Balasubramanya HV on the highway out of nowhere.
Balasubramanya, a resident of Rajajinagar, survived the assault and has been discharged from the hospital. In his criticism to the police, the aged man mentioned that the canine that attacked Raju was doubtless a stray, in keeping with a report by Times of India.
Acting on Balasubramanya’s criticism, police arrested Raju, 57, who instructed cops that he was walking on the pavement on seventeenth Cross when a canine out of the blue barked at and chased him round 8.30 pm on August 21.
“Suddenly, the canine walking behind him (Balasubramanya) began barking at me. I began walking at a brisk tempo and it chased me. I ran to the alternative pavement to flee from the canine. The canine disappeared and I obtained indignant on the man as I assumed it was his canine,” TOI quoted Raju as saying.
Raju began shouting at Balasubramanya for letting his canine unfastened on him after which out of the blue pulled a knife and stabbed him.
“I couldn’t perceive his phrases. He then pulled a knife and stabbed me within the jaw. I screamed for assist and tried to cease him from additional assault. Then he stabbed me once more on my proper hand and finger,” Balasubramanya instructed police.

Raju eloped when individuals gathered after listening to Balasubramanya’s cries. Some passers-by helped the aged man get to the hospital, the place he was handled.
Balasubramanya subsequently approached police and recognized Raju with the assistance of CCTV footage, following which the accused was arrested.
