In partnership with Paul Bunyan Dog Training Association, the Bemidji Area Reading Canine, or BARC, program lately introduced three new groups which have accomplished the required coaching.

The new groups are Richelle Fast and Latke, Caroline Fylpaa and Birch, and Sue Rickers and Daisy.

BARC dogs are remedy dogs who volunteer with their proprietor/handlers as a staff, going to colleges, libraries and lots of different settings as studying companions for youngsters.

These groups will probably be becoming a member of the opposite BARC groups in serving youngsters on the Boys and Girls Club of Bemidji Area, Heartland Christian Academy, Schoolcraft Learning Community, Horace May Elementary, Laporte School, Bemidji Middle School, Cass Lake/Bena Elementary, JW Smith Elementary and the Bemidji Public Library.
