SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Animal control authorities are requesting for the general public’s help in discovering a brown-and-white pit bull that went missing out on after an auto accident in Springfield.
The female dog, Nala, was last seen running towards Dwight Street near Exit 2 after a mishap on 291 West in Springfield, according to the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center.
“Our Officer was called out to the scene of an accident where a dog was ejected from a vehicle,” the shelter said in a Facebook post.
Nala might be hurt and terrified, authorities said.
Anyone who sees Nala is asked to not chase her and call animal control with any details at 413-781-1484 ext 1.
