On Thursday, the Antioch Animal Services responded to a report of a canine within the canal within the City of Antioch.
According to Animal Services, they obtained the decision from a “good Samaritan” who allow them to learn about a stray canine who acquired inventory within the canal. This comes after the previous two weeks, Animal Services had been receiving calls of a pair of “scruffies” who had been run across the neighborhood of the Twin Creeks Apartments on James Donlon Boulevard.
They say a citizen was in a position to safe on of the animals and produce them into their care at Animal Services (now up for adoption). The second, was not caught and would run away from anybody approaching him.
On Thursday, the canine trapped himself by falling down into the canal and by chance getting wedged within the framework of the bridge.
