THE COLONY (CBSNewsTexas.com) — Another pet proprietor in The Colony has come ahead saying their beloved household canine died whereas within the care of a boarding and coaching facility within the space.

As of Tuesday evening, a police investigation into Leiva Boarding and Training is underway and two folks have been arrested.

Before being dropped off at Leiva Boarding and Training, Selena Trevino stated Moose was a cheerful, wholesome canine who had simply celebrated his 4th birthday.

“He was type of like my emotional help canine,” Trevino stated. “I spoiled him. I let him get away with something. He was actually candy and caring, but in addition skittish to loud noises.”

Last July, she determined to board and prepare him and started researching services on-line and located Taylor Leiva’s business.

“The message that I need them to ship is that animal cruelty will not be allowed right here in The Colony,” Krista Kelley stated. “It’s not going to be tolerated and if you wish to have a boarding business, it’s a must to comply with sure legal guidelines and laws. You must be registered, it’s a must to have proof of vaccinations.”

Residential boarding is illegitimate in The Colony. There is at present a zoning case pending towards the business.
