Home Secretary Suella Braverman says she is in search of “pressing recommendation” on banning “deadly” American Bully XL dogs.
Ms Braverman mentioned the assault was “appalling” and the breed was a specific hazard to youngsters.
West Midlands Police are investigating after the woman was bitten whereas the canine was being walked in Bordesley Green.
