ALIQUIPPA, Pa. (KDKA) — An Aliquippa man is dealing with expenses after police stated he attacked one other man’s canine with a hatchet.
According to the prison criticism, the sufferer advised police he and his canine had been approached by David Askew and his canine in Aliquippa on the afternoon of Feb. 21.
The sufferer advised police as Askew’s canine was sniffing his, Askew pulled a hatchet out of his pocket and hit the sufferer’s canine within the head. Then Askew took off towards sixteenth Street, police stated.
The officer who responded to the scene reported that the sufferer’s canine had a big lower to its head and its ear was cut up in two. The canine was taken to the vet for emergency surgical procedure. Police stated the canine ended up dropping its ear and would require extra surgical procedures sooner or later.
Officers stated they had been capable of finding video of Askew leaving the scene and one other video displaying Askew walking his white canine whereas brandishing a hatchet.
Askew is dealing with a number of expenses, together with aggravated cruelty to animals and cruelty to animals.
