Animal Care Services has actually provided criminal citations to the owner of a dog that required a homeless, pregnant lady to enter a hectic highway, where she was struck by a car 2 months earlier.

The victim, Arggie Ford, 38, was seriously hurt and her child passed away as an outcome of being struck by the hit-and-run driver in the 2200 block of Bandera Road on the night of April 22. Ford invested 2 weeks in University Hospital and a number of days in a physical rehab center being dealt with for her injuries.

air conditioner officers identified the dog that threatened Ford lived at a close-by home in the 2200 block of Bandera Road. The dog, called Bailey, was given up to animal control authorities and later euthanized.

The dog’s owner, recognized by air conditioner as Jaymee Parker, 23, was criminally pointed out for the dog running loose and for not getting the dog a lawfully needed rabies vaccination. The citations were sent by mail to Parker’s home today, ACS spokesperson Lisa Norwood said.

Parker did not react to an email looking for remark Friday.

No one has actually been detained for the hit-and-run crash that hurt Ford. San Antonio authorities said Friday they are still actively examining that event.
