RED BLUFF — The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday proclaims Gizmo, the canine they discovered deserted in a vacant trailer with no meals or water, has been adopted and is now at home together with his new household.
Gizmo was picked up by his new dad and mom Wednesday morning. TCSO mentioned he may have an 11-year-old chocolate lab brother and a 2-year-old bichon fris/shih tzu sister.
On Oct. 2, legislation Enforcement discovered the German Shepherd inside a vacant and deserted trailer at 230 White Road in Red Bluff. TCSO mentioned he didn’t have meals or water and had been locked in a kennel. He was so skinny that his bones had been exhibiting by way of his pores and skin. The neighbors informed legislation enforcement Gizmo’s house owners moved out a number of days in the past and deserted him within the trailer.
He was taken to the vet for remedy after which to Tehama County Animal Care Center earlier than adoption.
A legal investigation into Gizmo’s abandonment and TCSO will pursue those that deserted him.
