PITTSGROVE, N.J. – A New Jersey animal rescue is looking for the person who left a basket of puppies within the woods to endure below-freezing circumstances.
The South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter stated a lady discovered the three puppies within the woods Thursday close to Gershal Road and Eppinger Avenue in Pittsgrove.
The girl, based on the shelter, was feeding her out of doors cats when she heard whimpering within the woods and located the pups trapped inside a basket.
One of the puppies was already lifeless, and the opposite two had been emaciated, dehydrated and chilly, the shelter stated.
