A person, a canine and a pig had been killed in a late-night home fireplace earlier this week in Columbia Heights, officers mentioned.

Fire personnel responded shortly earlier than 1 a.m. Thursday to the blaze within the 4600 block of NE. seventh Street, the Anoka County Sheriffs Office mentioned.

Responders entered the home and eliminated an unconscious man from the property, the Sheriff’s Office mentioned. Emergency medical personnel took the person to a close-by hospital, the place he was declared lifeless, based on the Sheriff’s Office.

The canine and the pig died in the home, the Sheriff’s Office mentioned.

Investigators have but to make a preliminary dedication of the hearth’s trigger.
