PINE HILLS, Fla. – Four individuals were apprehended after a female was abducted, bound and put in a dog cage in Orange County over the weekend, according to deputies.
The lady in her 40s was taken and held versus her will in an effort to get details from her about a possible taken product, according to an arrest affidavit.
She handled to leave and went to a neighboring home for help, deputies said. She had small injuries.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office apprehended 4 suspects: 37-year-old Monica Latresis Reed, 19-year-old Damon Andrew Tromp, 21-year-old Kevin Rudolph Holmes and 39-year-old Cortez Marenzo Bernard Jackson. They all are dealing with charges of armed kidnapping and unlawful imprisonment with a weapon.
Reed is dealing with a service charge of worsened battery with a gun for handgun whipping the victim, deputies said.
According to the affidavit, on Saturday, the suspects abducted the lady, duct taped her hands, feet and mouth and put her in a dog cage inside the shed behind a house near Barnett Place and Emeralda Road in Pine Hills.
Around 2 p.m, deputies reacted after the lady knocked on a next-door neighbor’s door asking for help, stating she had actually been cooped at a neighboring home.
The suspects were apprehended following a six-hour standoff.
Tromp, Holmes, and Jackson appeared prior to a judge Sunday where they read their charges.
Reed is set to have her very first court look Monday early morning.
