PANOLA COUNTY, Miss. (WMC) – Panola County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that a number of dogs have been rescued after deputies busted a canine preventing ring.
According to the sheriff, the bust took place in Como, Mississippi on the night time of December 2 at a non-public residence on Rayburn Road.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered over 30 dogs that have been chained in numerous locations on the property, most residing in poor circumstances.
At this time, there isn’t a suspect data.
The Sheriff’s Office is actively trying to find houses for the recovered dogs.
