TAMPA, Fla. – The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is providing a $2,500 reward for data resulting in the arrest of the person who allegedly threw three puppies from a transferring car onto the aspect of the highway.
The shelter posted on its social media profiles on Thursday evening, main with the next in all caps: “They deserve justice and we wish solutions.”

According to the Humane Society, three puppies have been ‘mercilessly’ thrown from a automotive on the aspect of a dead-end highway off of Bearss Avenue in North Tampa late Wednesday evening.

Though all three survived the impression, one of many puppies was run over and killed by one other automotive. The remaining two siblings, adorably known as Luke and Leia, suffered minor accidents and damaged bones.
Luke and Leia ‘stayed faithfully by their lifeless brother’s aspect all evening,’ the Humane Society reported. A Good Samaritan who lived on the highway discovered the puppies and known as the Humane Society for assist.

The Humane Society named the puppy who didn’t survive Paolo. The three dogs have been 8-week-old pointer/hound mixes.
“The disregard for the lifetime of vulnerable beings just isn’t acceptable and is, the truth is, unlawful,” the submit from the Humane Society reads. “Violence towards animals is almost at all times linked to violence towards people and is a detriment to the security of this group.”
Luke and Leia are presently on the shelter receiving care from the medical workforce, in accordance with the Humane Society.
“It is difficult to think about the trauma they endured as they watched their brother, Paolo, bleed to dying after which waited by his aspect all evening scared, injured, and hopeless.”
