IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – A three-legged dog is back home safe with his owners after 246 days on the run in Iowa City.
The group at Paws of Hope Animal Rescue said they lastly rescued Kinnick, a white, three-year-old, Labrador mix, early Wednesday early morning.
In a Facebook postthe group said Kinnick was initially rescued from a circumstance that left him with extreme injuries, however had actually escaped his brand-new owners.

The group tracked Kinnick’s three-legged paw prints after the very first snowfall, and established video cameras and a food station where most of the prints were.
