CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. — Three folks, together with an adolescent, are going through fees in connection to an animal abuse case in Clearfield County.
According to NBC affiliate WJAC, an English Mastiff named Duke was discovered on Steep Hill Road in Greenwood Township on Friday, Nov. 24.
Investigators stated the canine was present in “deplorable” well being with a shoestring round its mouth.
Three suspects, a 60-year-old man, a 31-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy all admitted to abusing the canine.
Duke was taken to an animal hospital in Pittsburgh, the place a veterinarian discovered he had been shot within the head, WJAC reviews.
Multiple fees are being filed, WJAC stated, together with aggravated cruelty to animals and animal neglect.
The suspects haven’t been recognized.
