180 animals saved, 2 discovered dead throughout puppy mill bust in Ocean County

Almost 200 animals were discovered living in “terrible” conditions at a supposed puppy mill that authorities state was being lacked a house in Ocean County.

Officers state they might smell a strong smell and hear barking when they reacted to a confidential problem for a house on Arrowhead Park Drive in Brick Town on Friday.

When they got in your house, officers discovered stacks of animal cages on top of each other with pet dogs and felines inside. They were required to leave due to the conditions, and called a hazmat group to the scene.

It was at first approximated that about 30 animals were inside the house, nevertheless, hazmat officers ultimately saved 135 pet dogs and 45 felines.

Aimee Lonczak, 49; and Michele Nycz, 58; who were both living in the house with a 16-year-old kid, were jailed and charged with animal ruthlessness and kid endangerment. Cops state service charges are possible.
