An authorities on Friday discovered 146 dead dogs inside a home in Mantua, Ohio, a regional animal well-being organization said in a statement. The home came from a starting operator of Canine Lifeline, a regional dog shelter.
The Portage Animal Protective League — which partners with a court-appointed Humane Agent to examine animal cruelty charges, according to the non-profit’s website — carried out a search warrant after getting a pointer that the unnamed creator had a pending animal cruelty charge in another jurisdiction.
Upon getting in the home, the Humane Agent discovered 146 dogs, all of whom were deceased. There were no live animals present in your house, and the animals discovered remained in differing phases of decay — with lots of restricted to their cages.
