TACOMA, Wash. – In the span of two days, the Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County obtained 13 puppies and two grownup dogs that had been deserted in three separate areas in Pierce County.
On Saturday, Sept. 23, Pierce County Animal Control introduced seven 7-week-old mixed-breed puppies after being present in a duffel bag exterior.
Less than 24 hours later, two 10-week-old German shepherd puppies arrived on the shelter as strays after a involved citizen witnessed them being dumped on a property.
The subsequent day, a supply driver discovered a household of uncared for doodle mixes, together with 4 8-week-old puppies with the mom and father dogs. The puppies had been present in a cardboard field alongside a county highway in Gig Harbor.
The driver who discovered them mentioned it was raining on the time, so the field and the puppies had been soaked.
The grownup dogs had matted fur after they arrived on the shelter and the puppies had been weak and torpid.
Vets have been analyzing every puppy for sicknesses or accidents and are offering medical care.
