MIAMI COUNTY — About 5 months in the past News Center 7 launched the Miami Valley to a cat named Fotis, who had been deliberately set on hearth.
Now, Fotis lives at Our Farm Sanctuary in Miami County and has beat the chances.
“At one point we were told he would have to be euthanized,” Sophia Kartsonis, director of Our Farm Sanctuary stated.
To preserve that from taking place Fotis went by months of remedy.
“He received every sort of crazy thing you can put on a burn,” Kartsonis stated.

Fotis was capable of beat the chances because of individuals in the neighborhood wanting him to get higher.
“We could not have done this without the public … there has been so much evil done … if it was going to be several thousand dollars, the money came in,” Kartsonis stated.
Upwards of $20,000 was donated to Fotis’ restoration and with a few of these funds, this little cat goes to be serving to others.

She is so happy with how far Fotis has come.
“He is the most zen cat it’s almost like he’s feeling so safe and so lucky,” Kartsonis stated.
She feels fortunate he’s nonetheless right here.
“I held tight to hope because I didn’t know what else to do,” she stated. “We are all so madly in love with him, it’s goofy.”
Fotis continues to be recovering a bit and as soon as he’s absolutely healed the plan is for him to develop into a remedy cat and assist these recovering in hospitals.
