Waterloo Region, Ontario – Police have confirmed that the stolen kitten has been positioned and returned.
On December 6, 2023, WRPS was contacted by an area animal care and rescue group informing them that the kitten had been returned and of their care.
The group suggested a member of the neighborhood had contacted them and returned the kitten. The group acknowledged the kitten requires minimal medical consideration however is anticipated to make a full restoration.
Waterloo Regional Police is appreciative of the neighborhood’s cooperation and help with this investigation

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Police have arrested a male for the theft of a kitten in Waterloo.
On November 24, 2023, at roughly 6 p.m., police acquired a report of a theft of a kitten from a retailer within the space of Weber Street North and Northfield Drive.
The suspect entered the shop and eliminated a kitten from a cage earlier than concealing it and leaving the shop.
Through the help of quite a few members of the neighborhood, police have been capable of determine the suspect.
As a results of the investigation, a 58-year-old Waterloo male was arrested and charged with theft underneath $5,000.
