A cat was rescued by a employee at a junkyard moments earlier than the car the animal sheltered in was about to get crushed in Asheville, North Carolina.
Brother Wolf Animal Rescue informed the social information platform Storyful that the junkyard employee delayed the automotive to take away the automotive’s battery when the cat hopped out from below the hood and “into his arms.”

The cat ended up within the custody of a neighborhood rescue middle, which later obtained a name from the salvage yard that the proprietor of the junk automotive was trying to find his pet cat named Lilly.
Lilly was vaccinated, microchipped, sprayed and returned to her proprietor, the rescue middle shared with Storyful.
