In a stroke of luck, a cat was rescued by a automotive junkyard employee in Asheville, North Carolina, simply moments earlier than the car she had sheltered in was crushed, a neighborhood animal rescue group stated.
According to Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, which launched photographs of the cat nestled in individuals’s arms, the junkyard employee paused the crushing to take away the battery, which was when the cat jumped out from below the hood and “into his arms.”
The rescue middle, which took custody of the cat, later acquired a name from the junkyard, reporting that the proprietor was on the lookout for his pet cat Lilly.
“We learned from him that, despite her small size, Lilly had an adventurous spirit like no other,” the Brother Wolf Animal Rescue wrote.
According to the rescue middle, Lilly was vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, after which returned to her proprietor.
