A Ukrainian soldier was caught by Russian forces – and instead of questioning him for details, he said they tortured him for enjoyable, like “the way a cat plays with a mouse,” he informed The Washington Post.

Ilia Mykhalchuk, a 36-year-old soldier from the 67th mechanised brigade, informed the Post that he was caught while battling in Bakhmut previously this year and after that invested 46 days as a detainee of the Wagner Group prior to a swap.
