Police: Tyrone female attempted to stab relative with scissors, got cat by its neck
Authorities in Blair County state a Tyrone female lags bars following a domestic conflict early Tuesday early morning.
Police state officers were dispatched to a residence along the 1500 block of Blair Avenue for a reported domestic disruption.
According to the affidavit, authorities state 28-year-old Faith Stiver is implicated of assaulting a female relative and trying to stab her with a set of scissors.
Authorities state the female apparently locked herself in a restroom in order to call 911.
Police include that, throughout the conflict, Stiver apparently got the victim’s animal cat and started “squeezing” its neck in a supposed effort to damage the animal.
Investigators state the cat was ultimately able to complimentary itself from Stiver’s grasp.
According to online court records, Stiver is being held at the Blair County Prison on charges of basic attack and harassment, along with misdemeanor cruelty to animals.
Her bail has actually been set at $15,000.
