The blaze started quickly prior to 2:30 a.m. on the 700 block of Via Manzanas, according to Ryan Nishimoto, deputy chief of the Alameda County Fire Department. When firemens showed up, they discovered 2 individuals leaving your house — both of whom appeared to suffer third-degree burns.
The 2 victims were required to a healthcare facility. Their condition was unclear Sunday early morning.
A cat likewise passed away in the fire, Nishimoto said.
The reason for the blaze stays under examination.
