CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Two folks have been charged after deputies in a single Eastern Carolina county say they stole a cat from an animal shelter.
Edward Burroughs, 34, and Kayla Bowen, 27, had been charged with one depend of larceny by Craven County deputies.
Deputies say the 2 made off with “Buster” after visiting the Colonial Captial Humane Society shelter on Wednesday.
The two had been caught on digicam going into the building that homes cats available for adoption. Deputies say the video confirmed whereas a volunteer left the room to assist others, Burroughs and Bowen are seen on video walking to their automotive with “Buster”.
