Several soaking moist and windblown animals had been taken to the Atlantic Wildlife Institute in southeastern New Brunswick when post-tropical storm Lee blew by means of the area.
Among these rescued had been just a few squirrels, a chipmunk and a hummingbird, in line with Pam Novak, the director of wildlife on the rehabilitation centre close to Sackvlle.

But there was one clear standout — a tiny bobcat kitten — who Novak estimates is just about one month old.
Weighing in at simply 759 grams, or 1.6 kilos, the kitten will not be prepared for launch till spring.
‘It’s simply not your peculiar, on a regular basis kitten, this can be a tropical-storm Lee kitten so therefore her identify is now Lee,’ says Pam Novak, director of wildlife care on the Atlantic Wildlife Institute close to Sackville, N.B. (Submitted by Pam Novak)
Novak stated it is uncommon for bobcats to be born so late within the yr, and simply as shocking is the way in which the bobcat was discovered.
