CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – Three cats had been rescued from a trailer hearth in Campbell County on Saturday.
According to the Lyn-Dan Heights Volunteer Fire Department, crews had been dispatched at 6:55 a.m. to Mountain Hollow Lane to reviews of a construction hearth.
Firefighters say the fireplace originated from beneath the trailer and the occupant was in a position to exit safely when the fireplace started to unfold to the bed room.
Three cats had been rescued from the home and two of the cats got oxygen for smoke inhalation, in line with firefighters.
Firefighters had been in a position to comprise the fireplace to the bed room, however the room comprises in depth smoke, hearth, and water harm.
The hearth was extinguished round 10 a.m. with assist from the Evington Volunteer Fire Department, Campbell County Department of Public Safety, and the Rustburg Volunteer Fire Department.
