Viewers have formally weighed-in after Cat Deeley made her debut on This Morning after changing former host Holly Willoughby.
The ITV flagship present has featured a carousel of rotating presenters since Willoughby stepped down after 14 years in October, stating she was doing it “for me and my household”.
The broadcaster confirmed Deeley’s appointment over the weekend on social media and the one-time SMTV star, 47, regarded extraordinarily snug as she took her place alongside co-host Rylan Clark on Monday’s episode for the primary of a three-day stint.
After introducing what was to come back on the present, Deeley turned to Clark and joked: “Can you consider they’ve let two of the naughtiest folks in tv reside on ITV?”
To which the previous X Factor finalist then quipped: “This is formally the tip”.
Deeley then revealed that it wasn’t her first time internet hosting the programme as she beforehand joined Paul O’Grady to have fun Cilla Black’s sixtieth birthday again in 2003.
Deeley and Clark proved a profitable mixture for viewers, who flooded X, previously generally known as Twitter, with their ideas.
“Ah it is beautiful to see Cat Deeley presenting with Rylan. Dream Team,” wrote one person, with one other agreeing: “Give Cat the job completely.”
“@Rylan nice crew with Cat at the moment on This Morning,” praised a 3rd.
While a fourth added: “I already really feel in protected palms with Cat Deeley. And after all, Rylan is at all times a pleasure.”
Deeley shall be again with Clark on Tuesday earlier than being joined by Craig Doyle on her final day.
Alison Hammond will then take over on Thursday alongside Doyle, earlier than Dermot O’Leary joins the Brummie character for his or her typical Friday present.
