The Puget Sound area has a happy history of animals riding public transit, and 17-year-old cat and routine ferryboat rider Betty is no exception.
Betty’s owner is Everett Herald reporter Andrea Brownwho informed the ferryboat service that she utilized to keep Betty in an animal provider in her car throughout cruisings. Betty differed with that method, and after she “meowed nonstop,” was blurt to roam and people-watch progressing.
Today, she’s ridden the ferryboat “up to a hundred times” over the last 2 years of experiences throughout the water with her owner.
