I don’t know what year it was, probably right before this record came out, and I was in the back of the room. It was packed, and obviously, there was a buzz about her, and she was incredible, she was just entirely herself, and I’ve never seen a performer so just singular, and this whole record is such a poem, the whole thing. This one’s incredible.”
