Nala has its own Instagram account which is verified and has over 4.4 million followers. The wealthiest pet in the world is a German shepherd dog named Gunther VI with a net worth of $500 million (Rs 4077 crore). Gunther VI is owned by the Italian media company Gunther Corporation.
Interestingly, Oprah Winfrey’s dogs Sadie, Sunny, Lauren, Layla and Luke, with a wealth of $30 million (Rs 244 crore), are fourth on the list.
At $25 million (Rs 203 crore), a Pomeranian Jiffpom is fifth on the list while Choupette, a cat owned by the late Karl Lagerfeld worth $13 million (R 106 crore) is sixth on the list. Pontiac, the dog of actor Betty White, worth $5 million (Rs 40 crore), has taken up the seventh spot.
