Dec. 8 (UPI) — A Newfoundland cat who took challenge with an try and rescue him from atop a utility pole took a flying leap from the highest of the pole — and the incident was caught on digital camera.
Alice Reid mentioned her cat, Coco, was seemingly chased up the pole by a neighborhood canine and he spent two hours crying for assist from atop the pole earlier than a rescue effort was launched by utility staff.

Reid filmed video of the tried rescue and captured the second Coco evaded the grasp of staff by taking a flying leap from the highest of the pole.
“I by no means, in 1,000,000 years, thought that he was going to leap on his personal,” Reid informed CTV News.
Reid mentioned Coco took off working after touchdown on the bottom and later confirmed up at home, miraculously unhurt.
“He got here up the step and went on in,” she mentioned. “Then he lied down on the ground and began washing himself like, , nothing ever occurred.”
Reid mentioned the daredevil cat is on home arrest in the interim.
“He’s crying to get outside and I’m making an attempt to maintain him in,” she mentioned. “He’s going to need to get used to being in the home extra.”
