SAINT PAUL, Neb. —
Against the backdrop of bitter chilly and treacherous icy circumstances, an area fireplace division battled a late-night construction fireplace.
According to the St. Paul Volunteer Fire Department (SPVFD), they responded to a late-night construction fireplace on the intersection of seventh and L Street in St. Paul shortly after midnight Monday.
SPVFD stated firefighters encountered difficult circumstances on account of excessive chilly and icy climate. The operation lasted over three hours because the courageous firefighters launched an aggressive inside and exterior attack on the engulfed home.
During the rescue operation, personnel performed an intensive search of the premises, efficiently saving the household’s cat.
The St. Paul Fire Department was assisted by Farwell Volunteer Fire Department, Elba Fire & Rescue, Saint Libory Nebraska Fire & EMS, Boelus Fire & Rescue, Dannebrog Fire Department, Howard County Sheriff’s Office and St. Paul Police Department.
SPVFD stated the Red Cross is helping the household.
