Phineas the orange cat isn’t your common cat, though he can do practically anything the typical cat can do. He has a neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia that makes him a bit wobblier (and more lovely) than many felines. It triggers him absolutely no discomfort or pain, so it’s simply another quality to enjoy about him!
In reality, his ‘unsteady cat syndrome’ is assisting him get appeal online. In a recent TikTok video from his account, @phineasthecat, he thrills audiences with an invaluable response over a tuna-flavored treat. He’s simply the happiest cat, and we can’t get enough of him.

Just take a look at this cutie pie! Phineas–or ‘Phin’ as his family calls him–is such a cheerful unsteady boy. No question he gets tasty tuna treats!
Commenter @becciqqqq asked, “does his wobble get more remarkable when he is delighted?” OMG–good concern! As one may anticipate, his psychological strength does make it a bit harder to move his body so rapidly. But, like his owner defined, it does not trigger him any pain. If you ask me–it’s quite cute!
Blue Pearl Vet describes that cerebellar hypoplasia takes place when a cat’s cerebellum does not completely establish prior to birth. This can in some cases occur when a mom cat has feline panleukopenia infection (feline distemper), or it can accompany an unidentified (or possibly absolutely no) cause. Aside from an absence of balance and unexpected, jerky motions, this condition does not damage cats at all. So next time you see among Phin’s humorous videos, you’ll understand simply what a happy cat he is.
