A RETIRED nurse dwelling in Puriton has turned an creator after having her first e-book printed. 

Lottie Dale wrote eight quick tales over lockdown. They had been impressed by her pet cat, Rory, who died round 20 years in the past. 

All of these tales are included in Rory – The Purl Cat, a 62-page e-book printed by Austin Macauley on October 31.

“It’s taken 20 years from the idea,” stated Lottie. 

“Throughout lockdown, I lastly knuckled down and wrote the story. Then I noticed that Austin Macauley had been in search of submissions.

The e-book was illustrated by Lottie’s companion, Paul Priestley, who has gained over 280,000 YouTube subscribers along with his on-line drawing classes.
