Rolo the dachshund is being hailed an area hero after discovering seven deserted kittens in Milton Keynes yesterday morning (22/8).

On Tuesday morning, Rolo was out on a walk along with his homeowners James and Megan, when his nostril alerted him to a service bag within the Brooklands space.

After investigating the service bag, James and Megan have been shocked to seek out seven kittens dumped, on bin day.

Rolo’s homeowners saved 6 of the kittens whereas one among them managed to flee.

Thankfully, Rolo got here to the rescue as soon as once more and managed to smell out the lacking kitten who has now been rescued.

A spokesperson for the RSPCA mentioned: “Rolo the Dachshund got here to the rescue for the second time, sniffing out the kittens that have been dumped. An enormous thanks to James and Megan, Rolo’s homeowners, who managed to safe the kittens and transported them safely to the vets.

“To all of the residents of Brooklands and everybody who got here to assist, together with our RSPCA Animal Coordinator and volunteers, thanks.

“All kittens are doing properly and we have now an area ready for them right here at RSPCA Milton Keynes and North Bucks department as quickly as they are often discharged from vets.”
