Fraud: Fairmount Boulevard
Police met a local, 43, on April 20 after she reported she might have been the victim of scams by sending out $500 to a Venmo app account to acquire a cat that authorities think did not exist, with extra info collected for a report.
Accident Investigation Unit (AIU) callout: I-480
Members of the AIU — consisting of Hunting Valley officers — were called at 8:47 a.m. April 22 to the scene of a mishap in the westbound lanes of I-480 at Warrensville Center Road where 2 law enforcement officers — a minimum of one from Warrensville Heights — were struck by a driver and suffered what were thought to be non-life threatening injuries.
Both officers were on the scene of a previous mishap when another driver occurred and strike them, one standing beyond a cruiser and one event. One officer was dealt with and launched from a regional medical facility and the other was confessed and noted in steady condition later on that day.

A rabbi in Mayfield Heights called authorities late on April 19 about a possible event including a risk made at a regional school. Police went to a home on SOM Center Road and figured out that any concern appeared to have actually been solved a week previously, prior to the rabbi being approached.
