MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF/Gray News) – Animal rescuers in South Carolina had the ability to release a kitten that got its head stuck in a soup can.
According to the Humane Society of Marlboro County, the cat was discovered Monday near some garbage beside the Department of Transportation workplace.
Workers think the animal got stuck looking for food in the trash.
A transport employee brought the little man to the gentle society and vets had the ability to take a look at the animal.
“One of the staff members gently pulled on the can to see if anything could be done. We could see him trying to move a little and eventually, we were able to wiggle him free,” a volunteer with the gentle society said.
The kitten has actually given that been offered the fitting name of Campbell. He suffered a couple of small scratches however absolutely nothing severe in the event.
“He’s not the cuddliest guy at the moment, but I think he’ll warm up once he knows he’s safe,” the volunteer shared.
The group said Campbell is now available to be embraced and those interested can look at his status and others online.
