The kitten, Nelly, was present in Shipdam and handed into The Grove Vets in Dereham on October 10.
After being warmed, rehydrated and cleaned of maggots and fly eggs, the vets discovered Nelly was lacking an anus.
Stacey Scoffins, a scholar vet nurse at The Grove who has agreed to foster Nelly, mentioned: “She had primarily been pooping out of her vulva through a fistula.

“It’s a situation that leads to loss of life very quickly after beginning, nevertheless little Nelly had made it to round 4 weeks out within the wild.”
After The Grove’s head vet, Hayley Gould, agreed to try the corrective surgical procedure, Miss Scoffins launched a fundraiser for the required £1,400 to “give little Smelly Nelly the designer booty and the life she deserves”.

While she waits for her surgical procedure, Nelly resides at The Same Star Sheep Sanctuary in Horning which Miss Scoffins runs along with her associate Abby Daynes.
