A beloved cat that referred to as the National Palace in Mexico City home died on Wednesday, prompting reporters on the presidential beat to share fond reminiscences on social media.

Zeus, an 11-year-old grey tabby, was among the many many cats who stay within the gardens and courtyards on the Palace, the home and workplace of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. He died from an unspecified sickness that had lasted three weeks earlier than his passing, in accordance with officers.
