The Lucky Cat Shop, on Low Petergate, is celebrating a purr-fect first three months – after launching earlier this 12 months.
It is housed on the primary ground of The Cat Gallery at 45 Low Petergate, and owned by gallery homeowners Peter and Alison Hanson.
The Lucky Cat Shop, which opened in August, presents an unique and quirky choice of felines – that are all related to luck.
The cats are designed by Peter and Alison, and so they are available three totally different ranges.
The ‘Original Lucky Cat’ is available in two sizes: one at 8cm tall, full with personalisable collar and attraction. The ‘kitten’ measurement is 5cm, and is available in a myriad of colors. Some of the kittens even change color or glow at nighttime!
A restricted version Candy Cane Kitten will launch from 18 November.
There are additionally carved Gemstone Cats, and Japanese Maneki Neko, aka ‘beckoning cat’. These are sometimes stored on the entrance to businesses and residential premises to beckon in prosperity and luck.
